Who we are

Everyday preparations, made from named herbs

We make a small range — one Ayurvedic syrup, two hair products and two for skin. Each is built on herbs that have been used in Indian households for generations: Bhringraj for hair, Neem and Tulsi for skin, Kalmegh and Bhui Amla for the liver.

The range is deliberately narrow. It lets us print the whole composition on the pack — every herb, its botanical name, the part of the plant used and the quantity per dose — rather than a vague "herbal blend".

How we work

From the classical texts to the pack

    Reference

    Each formulation is set against Bhavprakash Nighantu and the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India, which fix the herb, the part used and the proportion.

    Manufacture

    Production runs under Ayurvedic manufacturing licence 557/ISM/HR. Hair oil is made for us by Bansiwala Khalaal Khadi Gram Udyog Herbal Products, Haryana.

    Batch and label

    Every pack carries a batch number, manufacturing and expiry dates, net quantity, MRP and the full composition — plus GMP, ISO and HACCP marks.

Twelve herbs do most of the work across the range. Each is named on the pack of the product it appears in.

Bhringraj Eclipta alba The hair herb of the classical texts; in the oil, the syrup and the shampoo.
Brahmi Bacopa monnieri A calming herb, used in the syrup and the hair oil.
Amla Emblica officinalis Indian gooseberry — vitamin C rich, and a staple of hair care.
Neem Azadirachta indica Bitter and cleansing; the backbone of the face wash and the soap.
Tulsi Ocimum sanctum Holy basil, used across the skin range and in the syrup.
Giloy Tinospora cordifolia A classical restorative, in the Alco Detox syrup.
Ashwagandha Withania somnifera Root used as a strengthening herb in the syrup.
Kalmegh Andrographis paniculata Known as the king of bitters; a liver herb.
Shikakai Acacia concinna Traditional hair cleanser, in the Vitamin-C shampoo.
Aloe Vera Aloe barbadensis Cooling gel used in the face wash, shampoo and hair oil.
Jatamansi Nardostachys jatamansi Aromatic root, long used in scalp oils.
Haldi Curcuma longa Turmeric rhizome, in the syrup.
